New Year's Writing Goals

I've taken a few days off, and the hustle and bustle (okay, chaos at times) of the holiday season can take a toll on the most disciplined of people. That's one of the reasons why I enjoy the new year. It's a chance to start over. One of the reasons why teaching is such a good profession is because there are start-overs every semester. Alas, New Year's Day only comes once, so we've got to make the most of it.

I'm mulling around a few goals that I want to have for the upcoming year, but, particularly in regard to my writing, they need to be clear and attainable.

What do you do to keep writing goals throughout the year?
